Examinations
There are two main examination boards for practical and theory exams: Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity Guildhall. Both are equally accepted as standard, and both provide UCAS points for University entrance from Grade 6 upwards.
The exams differ mostly in the pieces offered and the choice of supporting tests (ie aural, sightreading, improvisation and musical knowledge). As each student has different interests and strengths, together we choose the exam board that suits each individual the best.

Exam Session C:
Practical: 8 November - 11 December
Jazz exams: 8 - 20 November
Theory: Wednesday 3 November, 5pm
Deadline for entries: Friday 24 September 2010.
